Private equity investors are interested in acquiring BCE, the parent company of Bell Canada, the country's largest telecom provider. BCE has confirmed news reports that it is indeed in talks with pension fund managers to take the company private. Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. and three Canadian pension funds have said they are pursuing the company.
