IBM said Monday it would offer social networking tools for corporations, offering businesses a safe way to create enterprise-controlled, MySpace-style environments within corporations. Big Blue is billing its Lotus Connections platform as the "first business-ready social software platform." saying it is one part of a broader array of real-time presence and communications products.
